Osa Estudio
From the idea to the co-production of an authorial short film
Nicolás Conte and Rosario Carlino are going to tell us about the creation process of the stop motion animated short film 𝑷𝒂𝒔𝒐𝒔 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒂 𝑽𝒐𝒍𝒂𝒓, from the first idea, the passage through laboratories, the development and the structure of the international co-production between Osa Estudio (Argentina) and Vivement Lundi!, a French production house nominated for an Oscar.
The talk is on Thursday, October 31 at 5:30 pm at @escueladavinci. Free admission, open to the public and on a first-come, first-served basis.

Nicolás Conte
Independent producer, director and animator specialized in Stop Motion animation. His productions have toured hundreds of festivals around the world; “Yo te quiero” (Short film, 2014), “La Tierra en mis manos” (Miniseries, 2015), “Entre Baldosas” (Short film, 2019). In 2024 he premieres his third short film “Pasos para volar”, co-produced by Osa Estudio and Vivement Lundi!, a project that won the CICLIC award at Annecy-MIFA 2021.
Rosario Carlino
Screenwriter, director and producer.
She studied film and television at the National University of Córdoba, Argentina. In 2013 she founded the animation studio OSA, where she produces series and short films, created to move people by talking about childhood, politics, mental lives, diversity and animals. She is secretary of the board of directors of @apa_cba, the association of animation producers of Córdoba, and coordinator of Apa Lab, the Latin American Laboratory for the Development of Animation Projects, and of RIA, the International Animation Residency.
