👁️🗨️ Alejandra Moffat (@moffatvaras) was born in Chile in 1982. She is a writer and screenwriter. She co-wrote the films 1976 by Manuela Martelli, La casa Lobo and Los Hiperbóreos by Joaquín Cociña and Cristóbal León, Antitropical by Camila José Donoso, and Todas las cartas que nunca envié by José Luis Torres Leiva, among others. Her notable publications include the novels MAMBO (Montacerdos, 2022) and El hacedor de camas (Sangría, 2011). Her short stories have been featured in the anthologies Vivir allá (Ventana Abierta, 2017), Avisa cuando llegues (Bifurcaciones, 2019), and Nada (Alacraña, 2019).
👁️🗨️ Patricio Plaza (@pat.plaza) is a filmmaker and producer of animation born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
His authorial work focuses on animation for adults with a political perspective. The short films El Empleo (2008) and Padre (2013), of which he is a co-author, were selected in over 500 festivals and received more than 200 international awards. In 2019, he founded @ojoraro_tv, a production and reflection space for animated images aiming to produce popular genre animation from a South American and queer perspective. Carne de Dios, the first short film from the production company, has been selected for the Official Competition at the Annecy Festival and has won the Best Argentine Short Film award at the Mar del Plata Film Festival and the Rigo Mora Award for Best International Animated Short Film at the Guadalajara Film Festival.

👁️🗨️ Silvia Prietov (@silvilucy.prietov) is the director, founder, and executive producer of Lucy Animation Studio (@lucy.animation), winner of Pitching Sessions Animation! Ventana Sur MIFA/Annecy 2021 with Halloween (feature film); winner of Best Animated Series at Chilemonos 2021 with Madhouse (adult series); winner of Cartoon Network’s “Pitch me the Future, Girl Power” 2020 with Astropackers (children’s series); and winner of FDC (Colombian funding) 2021 with Mitomorfosis (short film). She studied Visual Arts at Javeriana University, holds a Master’s in Visual Arts from the National University of Colombia, and studied Classical Animation at Vancouver Film School (full scholarship recipient). She has over ten years of experience working on 2D animation projects.
Production
👁️🗨️ Lucía Cavalchini (@luciacavalchini) holds a degree in Art History and a master’s in Cultural Management and Art Criticism from the University of Girona. Since 2007, she has lived in Mexico, focusing on programming, production, and reflection on audiovisual work, with a special emphasis on Latin American animation. She was the artistic director of @animasivo from 2010 to 2022, leaving the project to fully dedicate herself to production.
Currently, she collaborates with @pixelatl, a festival dedicated to animation and video games, programs for the documentary festival Ambulante, and through her production company @fedora.productions, she produces various animation projects that have received funding from INCAA, IMCINE, and IBERMEDIA, and have been selected for festivals like Morelia, Annecy, and Chilemonos, among others. She also teaches Art History and History of Animation Cinema at ESCINE (Mexico).
👁️🗨️ Ignacio Lillini (@chakylillini) is a director and producer of animation, with a background in Audiovisual Media, specialized in Animation from EPAV. He has programmed for the Cinema Lacalor film club and “El Ventilador” Animation Festival in Santa Fe (2009/16). He has worked at studios such as Molinete Animaciones, Potaje Creativo, Osa, and Curry, among others. He is the President of APA (Association of Animation Producers of Córdoba) and a member of the coordination team in the communication area of APA Lab (2017/21).
He is the creator of @chaanimation, where he produces queer animation content for an adult audience, including the short film @llovia.shortfilm, the pilot of the series “Besitos,” and his upcoming short film “Anoche.”
Currently, he serves as the general producer at @rudo.co and is the production coordinator for Bárbaro Cerro’s short film “Todos los futuros.” He directs “Manifesto,” a workshop offering advice for animation projects in their initial stages. Additionally, he programs “Inevitablemente,” a film cycle focused on LGBTQI+ perspectives in animation at ParáLoka Córdoba.
Art Direction
Now with a diverse career, he lives in Montreal, a city that nurtures his creativity in a multicultural environment. He believes in the power of teamwork, driven by an unwavering commitment to originality, a passion for storytelling, and the pursuit of unexplored territories in the audiovisual world.
