What is it about?

With Javier Luna Crook, animator, director and co-founder of Tamandúa Estudio, we are going to animate using cutouts, sand and lead figures. Each participant will be able to work using their own cutouts, and then put them in motion on an animation table. Come and make your own loops!

 

Who is it for?

The workshop is aimed at animators, artists in general or curious and restless souls who want to have fun and try something new. You do not need to have any experience.

 

When?

Saturday, October 30th from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (GMT-3)

About Javier Luna Crook

Director, animation producer, animator, teacher and co-founder of Tamandúa Estudio.
He focused his career on the relationship between nature conservation and animated content from different formats and techniques (short films, series, apps). Specialized in Stop Motion, he worked together with Can Can Club, Mostro and JPZaramella, Santiago Bou Grasso (El Empleo – Father) and Javier Mrad (Teclópolis). His short “Quma y las Bestias” was selected in more than 30 international festivals. The short film and Series Teaser “Mi Otro Hijo” is currently in distribution where he was Associate Producer and Animation Director. In 2017 the development of “Ori y Gen” started, which is a Preschool series project in Stop Motion with the scriptwriter Luz Márquez. He is also a Teacher of Stop Motion animation at the Da Vinci School and Universidad del Cine.
