What is it about?

In this workshop we will develop an illustrated work from concept to production. We are going to seek and question conceptual and formal references to generate a particular atmosphere and visual style. During 4 meetings, once a week, you will be able to participate in this online workshop with exercises, corrections, references, blogs, live work and homework. We are going to create a Discord so that between each class there is dynamic feedback and following up of the processes of each participant. At the end of the workshop you will have a final work with everything that you were seeing throughout the month; guided by the sensitive eyes and magical hands of Jésica Bianchi. At the very end, we will do a face-to-face exhibition with those who want to participate at Arcade Social Club, in Buenos Aires.

Who is it for?

The workshop is especially aimed at illustrators and artists who want to develop their own visual style. We are going to work on finding and analyzing references to find out what we want (and what we don’t) and how to start doing it. You can work on previous material or come wanting to jump into the void of creation.

Requirements

Computer with internet access, graphic tablet, minimum monitor resolution 1280×800.
Knowledge of Photoshop or any digital drawing software.

When?

4 classes of 2 hours, once a week.
Monday from 7pm to 9pm (Argentina). It starts on October 25th and ends on November 15th. With a presencial exhibition (optional) on November 18 at the Arcade Social Club.

Jessica Bianchi
Born in Buenos Aires in 1987. Digital artist and art director, dedicated to illustration and animation. She began her artistic training at Fernando Fader and went through a career in Graphic Design at the University of Design and Architecture in Buenos Aires. She attended a work clinic with Diana Aisenberg and was part of the Rayo Lazer artist collective workshop. Since 2018 she has worked in the area of ​​traditional 2d animation working for leading industry studios in Argentina. Currently she is an active part of the crypto art community on different platforms.
