What is it?

During every Tuesday in November you will be able to participate in this online workshop, which combines the knowledge of the script and astrology to expand your animated stories and character construction. Through dynamic classes, exercises, visualization of references, readings, and intensive work on your own idea, we will look for new ways of narratives through the cosmic archetypes and their cyclical times. The workshop is a review of the theory of dramatic conflict under the magnifying glass of the stars and an opportunity to create new stories that are closer to the reality we inhabit.

Who is it for?

This script workshop is designed especially for scriptwriters, animators, illustrators or restless and curious souls who are working or developing an animation project or have an idea to start one (they can be short, series, feature films, etc). Moviegoers who wish to expand their knowledge of cinema through astrology can also participate. Or vice versa: astrolovers who want to script their galactic impressions. The objective of the workshop is to illuminate and identify the conflicts of the characters through astrological tools in order to deepen them and work on them in a more conscious way.

What do you need to sign up?

Be developing an animation project or have an idea to start developing it. You can work on previous material or come wanting to jump into the void of creation to leave the workshop with unexpected stories.

Computer with internet access. We are going to use Google Meets, Google Drive, etc.

When?

It starts on Tuesday, November 2nd and lasts every Tuesday in November, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. 5 classes of 2 hours, once a week.

Luz Orlando Brennan
Director / scriptwriter, graduated from ENERC. Her works were selected by festivals around the world such as the Berlinale, San Sebastián, Viennale, AFI, BFI London, Ottawa International Animation Festival. As a screenwriter, she collaborated with numerous directors such as Natalia Meta, Bárbara Cerro, Diego Fried, Ariel Martínez Herrera and Edgardo Castro. She was also a Script teacher at the Universidad del Cine for more than 10 years.
