In 2022, she was awarded a grant for a graphic novel residency at the Maison des auteurs in Angoulême, France. The book she developed there—based on that initial comic—was published in France by Sarbacane as *Des maux à dire* and in Spain by Astiberri as *El Cuerpo de Cristo*. It has won numerous accolades, including the Jury Prize at the 2023 Périgord BD Festival, the Audience Award at the 2024 Angoulême Festival, the 2024 Bédélys Award for Best Foreign Work at the Montreal Comic Arts Festival, the 2024 *Madame Figaro* Grand Prix de l’Héroïne, the 2024 National Comic Award, and the 2025 Best International Graphic Novel Award at Comicon Napoli.

In 2025, she premiered a short film adaptation of the book. Written and directed by the artist herself, *El Cuerpo de Cristo* is a story rendered through embroidery and animation—an approach to psychological suffering that embraces softness and beauty through the medium of embroidery.
