2026 EDITION
Full Marathon of La huella de oro + Q&A with Daniel Duche
International Animation Day is being celebrated with a multi-venue marathon that will keep you watching until your eyes beg for mercy. On Wednesday, October 28 at 6 PM, we will screen the *entire* series La huella de oro at @centroborges, followed by a Q&A with its creator and director, @danielduche.
Produced by Puño Robot and Enzo Ruso Films, La huella de oro is an original Argentine adult animated series created for Adult Swim and HBO Max. The story follows Fafner, a mercenary pursuing a trail of coins toward his inevitable destiny, traversing a fantastical, dystopian, and morally fractured world.
With no dialogue between characters and featuring the voice of Mario Castañeda as the narrative thread, the series blends Argentine comics, dark fantasy, Westerns, science fiction, and social commentary. It features ice giants, minotaurs, dragons, greed, violence, superpowers, and a treasure that might not be what it seems. Everything needed for a quiet afternoon.

Oct 28 at the Gaumont ⚡︎ Electro Andes + Calesita + Bellolandia Talk 🧯🔥
On Wednesday, October 28, we’re celebrating International Animation Day with screenings and talks at @cine.gaumont, @centroborges, and @clublucero. An animated takeover across three venues, featuring all-day activities to suit every taste, size, and state of matter.
🪫 At the Gaumont’s Leonardo Favio Hall, we will be screening the pilot episode of Electro Andes, the Argentine action and sci-fi series created by @nachomalter and @dfg.art, and produced by @bellolandia.
Technology, ecological collapse, megacorporations, and ancient Andean forces converge in *Arcadia Iruyana*, where two siblings join an eco-terrorist cell to take on Black Mountain. An anime produced from this corner of the global south—a beautiful anomaly that Bellolandia dubbed *Sudakuga* ⚡︎🏔️
We will also screen *Calesita* by @el_sike—another Bellolandia production—alongside domestic and international short films from the Bitbang 2026 Official Selection. After the screenings, the studio team will give a talk about their processes, their projects, and the adventure of producing Argentine animation with interplanetary ambition.
