Illustrated intimate diary, with China Ocho
Presencial Workshop - Centro Cultural Recoleta, Buenos Aires. (In spanish)
What is it about?
The intimate diary is a genre that is born in privacy, generating, for those who write or draw it, a space for reflection on feelings, development of ideas and analysis of everyday life. There are many writers and artists who have developed it, like Alejandra Pizarnik, Frida Kahlo, Susan Sontag or Maitena, for example.
In this workshop China Ocho will guide the participants so that they can draw autobiographical situations and everyday emotions. During three hours, people will work in a practical way about what are the elements and resources that they can use to create their own illustrated journal.
