WHO IS IT FOR?

Designers, animators, and artists who are interested in integrating art into a video game in a simple way and experimenting with its mechanics.

Every Tuesday in September: 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th

From 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM (Argentina Time GMT-3)

WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

In this workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to add your art to the assets (characters, props, and environments) of a video game prototype. We will use Construct 3, a software that allows for simple and visual game development, as well as customizing it with your own designs. Finally, we’ll learn how to modify some mechanics of the prototype, giving it identity both aesthetically and in its gameplay design.

WHAT DO I NEED?

A computer with internet access.

If you plan to integrate your own art, it needs to be digitized: this can include photographs or digital illustrations. If you are not using your own art, we will provide the necessary materials for you to participate without any issues.

HOW MUCH?

$12,000 (for Argentina) or 40 USD (from abroad).

Bruno Martínez

Bruno Martínez (@brureale) has been an independent Technical Game Designer for 8 years. He has worked on level design for games for Cartoon Network and created rapid prototypes for the animation and game development studio Game Ever!. In 2018, he founded Puerto Global, a company focused on digital and creative industries, aiming to promote gaming culture across the country with a focus on creating experiences with social sensitivity through art and humor.
