Call for producers - Consultations with Damien Megherbi (Les Valseurs)
If you are a producer and you have a live action or animated feature film project, or an animated series for adults and young adults, in development or in the advanced stages of production, this is your chance to take it to the next level.
Damien Megherbi, from Les Valseurs, will be providing advice to the selected projects, helping you perfect your pitching skills and find partners to finance and make your proposal a reality. 🤝
📝 How to participate?
Complete the form before October 22nd at 11:59pm, attaching a PDF in English that tells about the project.
The PDF in English must contain no more than 10 pages and weigh less than 15mb with:
- Presentation and Technical Sheet
- Logline and Synopsis
- Project status
- Character and background design
- Producer – production company bio
- Optional link to extra material (script, storyboard, animation excerpts, tests, etc.)
📩 Announcement of selected projects: October 27th by email.
Selected projects will have the opportunity to present their proposals in face-to-face meetings during BBX, receiving personalized feedback and reviews.

🔍 Damien Megherbi is co-founder of the production company Les Valseurs (2013) and the animation studio Pulp in 2023. He produced the animated short films: 𝑾𝒊𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒅 𝑮𝒊𝒓𝒍 (Jury Prize at Annecy and César in 2019), 𝑮𝒖𝒂𝒙𝒖𝒎𝒂 (70 awards, including best narrative short in Ottawa and best animated short at SXSW) and 𝑺𝒕𝒆𝒑 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑹𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓 (shortlisted for the Oscars in 2021). After noticing Émilie Tronche’s work on social media, she suggested turning the project into a series for TV and social media, including a specific version for TikTok: ̗̀➛ 𝑺𝒂𝒎𝒖𝒆𝒍 was launched in March 2024 on Arte, RTVE and 3Cat, as well as on their social channels.
