“When we think of birthdays, those little 90s candles in the shape of football players that we had when we were kids came to mind. And football worked well for us as a metaphor for celebration in a bleak context. Bitbang brings us together, it’s this meeting space that we find absolutely necessary. Because it’s the community that sustains us in these difficult times, even though everything seems to be burning down around us. Happy 10th anniversary, Bitbang!”
