Works by international guests (Benjy Brooke, Stephen Vuillemin, Damien Megherbi and Max Winston) and Don Hertzfeldt, along with two surprise WIP shorts and part of the national Bitbang Selection. After the screening there is a Q&A with the directors.
2 to 8 pm – Immersive installation “HÁBITAT”

Experience created by Águeda Sobico, with sound decoration by Rocío Morgenstern. The landscape that could have grown on the banks of the Río de la Plata if Buenos Aires had not existed.

The French artist will present his short film A Kind of Testament to explore how animation can address themes of decay and mortality.

The American animator will explore the concept of “Form vs. Force” and the creative challenges in formal institutions. He will also share his experience in the Scavengers Reign series. He will also talk about his new project for 2025, Common Side Effects, and his focus on Green Street Pictures.

Along with Té de Productores, Gabriela Nascone, from SICA, will address labor rights and unions in film and animation, demystifying their role and strengthening representation and labor welfare. Free admission and on a first-come, first-serve basis.
5 pm – Masterclass: Networks in co-production

Té de Productores will address uncertainties about co-productions: from allies, essential requirements and the legal framework to export windows and financing options. In addition, she will share experiences on management and workflow to carry out these co-productions. Free admission and on a first-come, first-serve basis.

We will talk about the creation process of Pasos para Volar, a stop motion animated short film. Together with Osa Estudio (Argentina) and Vivement Lundi!, a French production company nominated for an Oscar, we will see from the first idea to the development of the international co-production. 6 pm – Masterclass: Damien Megherbi

The French producer will talk about Samuel, a series that addresses the transition from childhood to adolescence and psychological maturity from the perspective of an 11-year-old boy who writes down his experiences in a diary. Free admission and on a first-come, first-served basis.
