Talk and Exhibit with Paul Sende

Light, time, and movement permeate the work of Paul Sende, an Argentine visual artist who explores the boundaries between digital and analog through geometry, abstraction, and sensory perception. His work seeks to generate experiences where matter and technology intertwine until they become one.
Paul will give a talk moderated by Pablo Roldán, director and founder of Rudo Co., and will provide a guided tour of his Made In exhibition in Pavilion 4. The conversation will address the links between animation, contemporary art, and new media, exploring how the principles of movement and perception are reflected in Sende’s light installations, resin sculptures, 3D prints, and lenticular works. A dialogue on digital aesthetics, technology, and art forms in the age of movement will take place.
In addition, there will be a live performance in which Paul will modify the configuration of his sculpture Loop, a modular piece that combines play, materiality, and repetition in a continuum of forms and energy.
Paul Sende (Buenos Aires, 1989) is a visual artist with a degree in Multimedia Arts from the UNA (National University of Buenos Aires). As a child, he already played around making homemade animations with whatever he had on hand, some of which ended up being shown on MTV. His work combines digital and analog techniques in light sculptures, installations, and modular objects that dialogue between the technical and the poetic. He has exhibited at venues such as Malba, the Recoleta Cultural Center, and Pabellón 4, which represents him in Argentina. Since 2024, he is also represented by the Tuleste Factory gallery in New York.
